12. Asuka - WWE Women's Championship
It's the bitter truth that Asuka's time in main roster WWE has always had a ceiling. She's never won at WrestleMania and she's struggled to work many memorable feuds. To freshen things up this year she... changed her face paint. Great?
It hasn't done anything for her standing though. She landed the Raw Women's Championship (later renamed just the Women's Championship) mostly because it was time for Belair to drop it and move on and Asuka just so happened to be available. She's a fantastic wrestler - one of the best women to ever do it, surely - but there's just nothing remarkable one way or the other about the victory or her time with the strap... which isn't good, considering she had just beaten a woman who held the gold for over 400 days.
Two sub-10-minute defences on SmackDown and a 70-day run don't make for a lot to talk about. It wasn't bad, by any means, but it also wasn't particularly interesting either.
