Ranking Every WWE DOINK From Worst To Best
3. Steve Keirn
Another case of WWE having a couple of Doinks on the go at one time, Keirn's take on the persona gets more than a passing grade because of how it came to life in the first place.
Bobby Heenan's call of his very presence being a Las Vegas "illusion" during the pair of Doink's assault on Crush at WrestleMania IX captured the intentionally wicked humour of the bit. Playing with vaudeville, grifting and stage magic alongside the original clown persona, WWE gave the sh*thouse heel an added weapon in his feud with the giant Hawaiian - a psychopathic doppelgänger.
Keirn had Bourne's scowl down along with a way of moving around the ring that welded the grim joviality he took from being an evil b*stard and how a clown would theoretically hop about at a kids party if he wasn't intent on unleashing cruelty on others.
Multiple Doinks worked once, but it worked well.
