Ranking Every WWE Grand Slam Champion Based On Their Legacy
17. The Miz
Titles: WWE Champion, Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion
Yes folks, technically The Miz can claim to be in the same category as Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle. Because against all odds, Mike Mizanin managed to secure the last piece of the puzzle in 2012, winning the Intercontinental Championship for the first of five times and cementing his status as a Grand Slam Champion just six years after debuting on the WWE's main roster.
Let's face it, not many people outside of The Miz's immediate family are going to be happy to see him on this list. But you really have to applaud the guy's unlikely ascent in the company.
He's by far the most successful performer to get his start on Tough Enough, with his accolades putting the likes of fellow reality TV upstarts John Morrison and Ryback to shame. He could have ended up like Maven or Josh Mathews, but thanks to his perseverance, charisma, and a heaped spoonful of opportunity, Miz worked his way up to main event status.
And even if he never reaches that peak again, he's a role model for every aspiring wrestler who wants to break into the WWE via reality programming. So that's...something.
