They reversed the decision to crown Shawn Michaels and Diesel Tag-Team Champs the next night on Raw, explaining that Owen Hart had been replaced by the Bulldog without official approval. Yes, it was one of those old bait-and-switch scenarios that left people feeling cold.

Still, the tag main event itself was well-worked, and Bret Hart tried his best against the underrated Jean-Pierre Lafitte on the undercard.
