Ranking Every WWE King Of The Ring 2019 Entrants' Chances Of Winning

All hail WWE's new 'King Of Flight'? Don't bet against it happening...

WWE leaked some barebones info about a King Of The Ring comeback on the post-SummerSlam Raw, then followed that up by revealing who the 16 names vying to become King would be on their website. The tournament is slated to begin on next week's flagship and continue on for the next month or so, with the final scheduled for 15 September's Clash Of Champions pay-per-view.

16 names, but only one can win. Just who will it be?

Spoiler alert incoming. It won't be the likes of Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt or Aleister Black. Exactly none of those men are included in the opening brackets, which is somewhat surprising given Braun's love of winning afterthought WWE prizes (Greatest Royal Rumble anyone?) and Black's status as an up-and-coming hopeful on SmackDown who desperately needs a break. Then again, the former is apparently set to face Seth Rollins come the night of the final.

No, like any wrestling tournament, WWE decided to throw a few duds in there to pad out the numbers and give guys with a serious chance some easy early-round victories. Being an outside bet doesn't automatically disqualify the chance of a shock happening, but it does make ranking possible winners that little bit easier...
