This is the most recent one of the lot. Don't let that fool you however, 'cause Ric Flair's own birthday bash turned out to be essential for the build towards Batista's final WWE match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. In late-February, Dave was merciless as he battered Flair, dragged him out for Trips, Sting, Kurt Angle, Ricky Steamboat and others to see, then asked if he had Hunter's attention.

It was a bad ass way to use affection for a legend and hype up a 'No Holds Barred' fight between former friends. WWE kept Ric's input brief so that the spotlight would shine more on Batista and Triple H. Clever move, in retrospect.
