Ranking EVERY WWE Royal Rumble's Biggest Surprise 1988-2022

30. 1998 - Three Faces Of Foley

Edge Royal Rumble
WWE

A tremendous way of obscuring their small roster and profiting further from the ingenious split personality disorder of Mick Foley, this trio of Royal Rumble appearances required his convenient eliminations at various points in the match but nobody really minded the contrivance.

He looked - as usual - gutsy, innovative and slightly insane. It also made for one of the match's only other talking points beyond Stone Cold Steve Austin's march to certain victory.
