Sharing the ring with and receiving a personal endorsement from Vince McMahon still carries a lot of weight with WWE's audience in 2019. That's what Elias experienced on Tuesday night. Forget the pasting he took from Roman Reigns too, 'cause the guitar-playing heat seeker is good enough to overcome continual kickings from the babyfaces.

Our only hope with Eli is that WWE realise he does need a bit more ring time to offset the entertaining fluff pieces and local sports team putdowns.
