A carry-job so good that it simply didn't resemble a carry-job, Shawn Michaels' magnificent one-man-show at Survivor Series 1996 convinced the New York locals that Sid was absolutely the right guy to crush the 'Boyhood Dream'.

Bumping like he was being killed rather than auditioning for clown college, Michaels' theatrical efforts were for the good of the cause rather than to make a political point. Already high on depressing drama before Jose Lothario hits the deck via video camera shot to the chest, Sid's babyface veneer slipping with the Championship in reach is darkly joyous to watch.
