23. Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs Triple H (2000)

27 Goldberg Brock Lesnar Survivor Series
WWE

What a stupid piece of sh*t.

Bruce Prichard has used his podcast voice over the last year or so to discredit the work of Chris Kreski - a man credited with much of the logical and dynamic television that made January - September 2000 so scintillating.

His exit coincided with Stone Cold Steve Austin's return and two attempts to pay the hit-and-run whodunnit off completely collapsing. When Rikishi crashed and burned, the story was handed over to Triple H, but they needed to get their automobile obsessions out of the way before they could get on with actually having great matches.

This p*ss-poor brawl ended when Austin suspended 'The Game' upside down in a car by a crane and dropped him to his certain death. It felt oddly allegorical for the company's creative fortunes.
