15. Triple H Def. Big Show (3 January 2000)
Triple H beating Big Show for the WWF Title in January 2000 was about as predictable as it got in the Attitude Era. There was just no way the company was going to leave the belt on the World's Largest Athlete on the eve of their biggest show of the year.
The match itself wasn't exactly spectacular either, evidenced by the fact that the cameramen spent roughly half of it focusing on Stephanie McMahon and D-Generation X up by the Titantron, who were waiting for an opportune time to get involved.
Eventually, they started making such a commotion on the entrance ramp that the referee - inexplicably - turned his back on the action inside the ring, allowing HHH to low-blow his opponent before nailing him with a Pedigree.
All things considered, this will probably rank somewhere in the bottom half of Triple H's 14 world title wins. Nothing about it was especially memorable, apart from the fact that it was followed by a firework and balloon-accompanied celebration as the show went off the air.
