4. WrestleMania XIX - Kurt Angle Vs. Brock Lesnar
Two outstanding wrestlers wrestling an outstanding wrestling match.
That's pretty much the best way to describe Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XIX. Were it not for the scary botched Shooting Star Press at the end of the contest, this one might have achieved the magical five stars on the ratings scores of those with a penchant for such things.
This was Brock at his most athletic workhorse best, while WWE Champion Angle was eager to match hold for hold, strike for strike with his larger rival - made all the more impressive when you realise what neck issues Kurt himself was going through here.
What made this match feel even more special, is that the opponents rarely touched in the build to this 'Mania match. Sure, that was largely down to those neck troubles of Angle's, but it just added a whole extra level of intrigue. An intrigue on which both men completely delivered.
