Ranking Every WWE WrestleMania Mixed Tag Match From Worst To Best
1. John Cena & Nikki Bella Vs. The Miz & Maryse (WrestleMania 33)
Last year's mixed tag team match has to go down as the best in WrestleMania history - and not just because of the heartwarming scenes at the final bell, when John Cena popped the question to Nikki Bella in a completely spontaneous move.
Even if you ignore that, this wasn't a bad bout at all. It wasn't the show's best in-ring spectacle, to be sure, but there was plenty in there to hold the audience's gaze, particularly when Cena and Miz - two of the company's most over performers - were in the ring.
The hook here was that there was so much feeling between the two teams. The promos they had cut on SmackDown in the weeks leading up to the event were deeply personal, with each couple throwing verbal barbs of a kind that are usually only seen in drunken Twitter rants.
If there's one criticism you can make, it's that the wrong team came out with victory. John and Nikki, who would both go on hiatus after the show wrapped up, really didn't need the win here (and they could have still done the proposal thing even with defeat).
