WWE making bad decisions and angering their fanbase is nothing new. Case in point - WrestleMania XIX.

Heading into the show of shows, Kane and Rob Van Dam were chasing World Tag Team Champions Lance Storm and William Regal, and though a health issue forced Regal to take an extended hiatus, he was replaced by Chief Morley and the blowoff match went on as planned.

Just a day or two before the event, though, a change was made - the match was moved to the Sunday Night Heat just prior to the PPV. As Lance Storm would later describe it, the four men were told that there wasn't enough time for the show as it was set, and since their bout wasn't the officially advertised one (Regal was still listed in the program) they got bumped. Of course, WWE made sure to make time for the Miller Lite Catfight Girls to have a farcical match and pull down Jonathan Coachman's pants.

It's a double shame because the match was actually pretty good. The crowd was hot for it, popping when Kane and RVD did stereo planchas to the outside and when RVD made the hot tag to Kane. Eventually, Storm pinned RVD for win, but Kane and Van Dam reclaimed the belts the next evening.
