Ranking Kane's 20 WrestleMania Matches From Worst To Best

1. Vs. Edge, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Christian & Chris Benoit - WrestleMania 21

Prior to WrestleMania 21, Chris Jericho had a brilliant idea - six grapplers would battle in an every-man-for-himself ladder match, with the winner getting a contract that would entitle him to a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship match any time in the next year. No advance notice was necessary, and since the winner could cash in on a badly beaten and vulnerable champion, the prize was as good as "Money in the Bank."

The match - which featured five of the best wrestlers in the company and Kane - was unique. For the first time ever, six men were in the same ladder match, but there were no teams. As such, brief alliances were formed and broken, friends fought each other viciously, and wrestlers put their bodies on the line to take out all of their opponents at once. Also, there was no real downtime in the bout.

It was Edge who emerged victorious, knocking Chris Benoit off the ladder to grab the briefcase and begin his career as a main-event star. Still, there were no losers - the bout was a classic, and WWE had discovered a new annual tradition.
