Ranking The Last 10 WWE Intercontinental Champions From Worst To Best

10. Zack Ryder

The earliest on the list is also the worst.

Maybe it's harsh to pin Zack Ryder's name next to that number 10, but his 24-hour IC Title reign was one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments. One minute, Zacky boy was hauling the thing down at WrestleMania 32 and celebrating with his dad like a kid might on Christmas Day upon unwrapping that shiny new games console. The next, he was jobbing to The Miz on Raw.

Ryder was a transitional champ. Here's the thing: Zack did deserve that 'Mania moment, and he did make the most of it. However, WWE weren't interested in making Mr. 'Woo! Woo! Woo!' their next midcard maestro, and he was relegated back to the chasing undercard pack like nothing had happened.

It's fun to look back on his 'Mania 32 heroics in that ladder bout and see that Sami Zayn was involved in the same match though. So were two others included on this list; they're a bit higher up than the one-night champ.
