Ranking The Subsequent Success Of Every NXT Champion

10. Paige

If this list had been made two years ago, Paige's name most definitely would've appeared nearer the top of it, given how prevalent she was throughout her first year on the main roster. Since she was used as the springboard for the 'Women's Revolution', however, she has done next to nothing of note inside the ring, having not even appeared on television since June 2016.

Outside of the ring is a different story - injuries, two Wellness Policy violations, phone hacking and a seemingly destructive relationship with Alberto Del Rio have all combined to make Paige's release just as likely as her return at this point.

Go back to 2013 and she was one of the hottest prospect's in the company, jostling with Summer Rae and Emma in the early days of the NXT women's division to become the inaugural champion. Whilst still holding the belt she proceeded to win the main roster equivalent in her first match, only to then become hampered by the haphazard writing of the women's division at the time, quickly dropping much of her 'anti-diva' character to become a spin on the 'crazy woman' archetype that the company so frequently employs.

A match with AJ Lee against the Bella Twins at Wrestlemania 31 was a step back in the right direction, but she quickly became an afterthought after the triple debut of Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, being used as a foil for the former before her destruction began in earnest.
