20. Vs. John Cena - WrestleMania 34

This is a match that constantly finds itself on Most Disappointing Dream Matches lists simply because it had been something fans wanted to see for a very long time. 'Taker had major feuds with every single face of the company throughout his tenure in WWE except Cena - the pair did clash but long before the latter was 'Big Match John' - so when 'The Phenom' came out of retirement for it at 'Mania 34, the two-minute squash we got couldn't have been further from what we were expecting.

Look, it is what it is, and once you accept that, it was pretty clever booking. This wasn't the Mr. WrestleMania variation of The Undertaker coming back for a five-star classic, it was a legend easing himself back into action after major hip surgery that could have ended his career. And you know what? It worked like a dream.

'Taker may not be the five-star Phenom anymore, but he's always looked strong in short bursts and this match showcased that as he delivered all of his greatest hits on the stunned Cena before putting him away in under three minutes. Sure, Cena botched the boot by putting his hands up too early, but 'Taker looked great and moved quicker than he had in years.

Essentially just an Undertaker squash of old with the much more exciting expanded skillset of the modern-day Deadman, it was everything it needed to be and erased the memory of his uncharacteristically poor performance the year before from our memories.
