Ranking The Undertaker's 10 WWE Entrance Songs

9. Dark Side (1998-1999)

http://youtu.be/e_CO-aDfo44 The Undertaker turned heel towards the end of 1998 so WWE's music guru Jim Johnston tweaked his theme song to something that was a bit more intimidating. Like all versions of The Undertaker's song, the trademark gong hits at the start of it. From there, it sounds a lot different. Instead of just an organ, you can hear a guitar and it's just more of a darker tune. There are thunder sounds mixed in as well as a much faster beat. You could also hear some voices chanting in the song just to make it sound scarier as well. This wasn't a song that he used that long. It was merely used for his character at the time. It wouldn't have worked during other periods of his career. Once he became a more demonic heel as the leader of the Ministry of Darkness in 1999 he switched it up.
