The second Survivor Series in a row to stink out the joint despite the product mostly smelling of roses, 2000's edition badly lacked spark as Stone Cold Steve Austin's return stuttered under the weight of daft car stunts.

The Rock and Rikishi had one of the latter's best ever matches, but just about everything else was missable. It wasn't yet obvious, but the peak had passed.
