When people refer to WrestleMania X-Seven as the end of the Attitude Era, it's perhaps because the bloom already felt off the rose by the very next show. Almost nothing on this card felt hot, nor resembled the promotion that had scorched the competition just two months earlier.

The Two Man Power Trip and The Brothers Of Destruction dragged their a*ses through a drab main event having been comfortably outworked by a collection of midcarders that were some way off smashing a troubling glass ceiling.
