Ranking Triple H's 19 WrestleMania Matches - From Worst To Best

10. Triple H Vs. Chris Jericho (WrestleMania X-8)

The main event of WrestleMania X-8 gets a lot of flack for going on after The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan, the real marquee match of the show, and rightfully so. While the crowd may have been dead, still recovering from the ovation they greeted that all-time classic with, Triple H and Chris Jericho still delivered an above-average wrestling match for the WWE Undisputed Championship. In the weeks prior to the show, Jericho and his new associate, Triple H's estranged wife Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, had targeted The Game's previously injured quadriceps. A Walls of Jericho on an announce table did so much damage, there were suddenly questions about the challenger's ability to make it to WrestleMania, let alone actually beat Y2J. But he did. Triple H endured a tremendous amount of pain, the bandage on his left leg failing to shield it from the concentrated attack from Jericho. But he was resilient, driven by the allure of championship gold. He fought back, withstood interference from Stephanie and even dropped her with the Pedigree to a thunderous ovation. From there, he caught a flying Jericho with a kick to the midsection and put him - and his reign as champion - away with a second Pedigree. It was a triumphant return to championship glory for Triple H and the first really good match of his much-hyped return to the squared circle.
