Mr. Perfect simply looked like a phenomenal wrestler before he invariably performed like one.

Wearing Olympian-esque attire colourful enough to enchant crowds in the DayGlo era of the WWF, Perfect fused legitimacy with vibrancy. He stood out as a technician par excellence in glorious contrast to the cartoon characters surrounding him, and when he performed this trademark massive bumps, his babyface opponents got over just as big with their comebacks. They had got one over on a man who lived up to the most lofty of names.

Perfect's attire was good and so synonymous with accomplished in-ring skill that it helped a certain follower of fashion get over years later...
