Rey Mysterio was such a fantastic presence on WWE TV in the early-to-mid 2000s.

He wrestled like nobody else and wrestled better than virtually everybody else. He was an exhilarating state-of-the-art worker and the sort of incredible babyface worker WWE had long-since abandoned in the age of the antihero.

His 619 was a superb workaround - in adjusting to the WWE style, Mysterio couldn't unleash the old, full heart-pounding range - and so he fused his unreal agility and rope work with a hard crack of a strike to convincingly put away the opponents that were invariably bigger than him.

This did require what may have been a contrived set-up - no other wrestler bumped like that in a match not involving Rey - but Mysterio was such an intelligent performer that it always felt organic.
