Ranking What Was REALLY The Worst Wrestling Match Every Year 1990-2021

25. 1997 - Sabu Vs. The Sandman, ECW November To Remember

Kronik Nia Jax
WWE Network

"Accentuate the positives, hide the negatives."

Nobody ever confused Paul Heyman for an honest bloke, and while his ethos was savvy and true enough much of the time, he didn't half expose some of his limited talents by throwing them in the ring for 15 minutes longer than was necessary.

Bracing in its violence, some of the stunts looked like they sucked to take, and the two men grafted, but the transitions between spots were appallingly transparent. One spot was so sh*tty that Sandman inadvertently propelled a ladder into Sabu's face when taking a bump on one.

As ugly, messy and incomprehensible as Sabu's Twitter account.
