Ranking WWE's First Ever NXT Class - From Worst To Best

26. Jason Jordan

NXT Roster 2012

It took a while to get going, but when Jason Jordan's NXT career finally came to life, it burst forth beyond almost everybody else on the roster.

Alongside Chad Gable, American Alpha helped reinvent and redefine tag team wrestling within the WWE system, contributing some of the best doubles matches in company history in the process. Their series with The Revival was the pre-cursor to Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder's follow-up run against #DIY and #DIY's with The Undisputed Era and so on and on. Architects in that respect, it wasn't something they were able to take advantage of - a main roster run fizzled and the reveal of Jordan as Kurt Angle's son split the team up for good.

With a career cut devastatingly short due to injury in early 2018, Jordan has since taken up a role as producer within WWE. It might not be the route he imagined taking as a prodigious Performance Center standout in the mid-2010s, but it's kept him as close to the action as he could realistically be.
