Ranking WWE's First Ever NXT Class - From Worst To Best

24. Danny Burch

NXT Roster 2012
WWE

Danny Burch did well to survive not just the dark days of the pre-NXT developmental system, but some lean years on the black and gold brand and a stint in the perpetually miserable NXT UK.

A surprise package in the company's 2017 UK Tournament after being hidden away in jobber matches as Martin Stone, Burch was paired with Oney Lorcan after the two beat the respect into each other on television. As bruiser babyfaces, the pair dramatically over-delivered on measured expectations, entering in some choice efforts against The Undisputed Era.

Notching an NXT Tag Team Title run following a 2020 heel turn alongside Pat McAfee, Burch was eventually released in 2021 but picked right back up on the independents. On balance and in comparison to many of his peers from the UK scene, his entire run within the system has to be considered something an overachievement.
