Real Reason Becky Lynch Missed WWE Raw

Becky Lynch missed last night's WWE Raw due to a "minor injury", reports WRKD Wrestling.

The account reported prior to Monday's show that on top of the injury, Lynch's absence from the broadcast served to further the sense of betrayal her character feels towards Trish Stratus, who turned on Becky during last week's Raw.

Lynch caused a stir prior to Raw, changing her Twitter monicker to her real name, Rebecca Quin, and ditching her verification checkmark, prompting immediate speculation on her WWE future. Since then, the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online has reported that this was "an angle."

Fightful Select reported on Monday that Lynch's WWE contract is due to expire in June 2024. The two parties have not yet entered negotiations over an extension. Lynch, who was originally booked to be at Raw prior to a change of plans, signed a three-year WWE deal upon returning in 2021.

Becky has been dealing with a "minor foot injury", according to Fightful, and recently exacerbated it. This would appear to go hand-in-hand with WRKD Wrestling's report.
