Real Reason Hangman Page Isn't Wrestling At AEW All Out 2021

Why Hangman Page isn't wrestling Kenny Omega at AEW All Out 2021...

Hangman Page is currently off All Elite Wrestling television as he is taking family time ahead of the birth of his first child.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that this was always the plan, which explains why the 30-year-old isn't wrestling Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All Out 2021 (5 September).

Falling short in a 10-man Dark Order vs. Super Elite tag match on the 28 July episode of Dynamite cost Page his redemptive pay-per-view title shot. It was a surprising result, as many assumed All Out would be where Hangman finally won the big one, but he has since been written off television after an Elite beatdown on the following week's show.

Christian Cage has ascended in Page's absence. Having climbed to the top of the men's singles rankings, Christian is now slated to challenge Omega on 5 September (after fighting for Kenny's IMPACT World Title on tonight's debut episode of Rampage).

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that Page was no longer lined up for the All Out main event on 30 July. There is currently no word on when he will return to the promotion.
