Impact's Kylie Rae is reportedly suffering from an injury, explaining her "no show" at last night's Bound for Glory PPV, according to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Rae was set to challenge then-Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, and the impending match-up had been promoted for months in the lead up to this highly anticipated event. However, on Saturday night, it was announced on air that the star was a "no show" and this led to Purrazzo issuing an open challenge before dramatically losing her belt to Su Yung.

Now it's being reported that Rae was never going to be at the event as she had suffered an injury. WON's Bryan Alvarez noted that said injury is "not serious", so hopefully this means we'll see Rae challenge for the title at some point in the near future.

Rae, 28, signed with Impact back in march, after requesting her AEW release last year.

Elsewhere on the show, Impact announced the return of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, with said belts not being present on the show since 2013. The latest pair of Champions will be crowned at Hard To Kill on 16 January 2021.
