Time constraints led to WWE pulling a scheduled Aleister Black segment from last week's episode of SmackDown.

Per PWInsider's Mike Johnson, WWE had planned on airing what would presumably have been the latest in Black's Tales of the Dark Father segment series on Friday, only to cut it at the last minute. This was down to several of the show's earlier segments running long.

As previously reported, Mia Yim/Reckoning's SmackDown debut was also cut from the show. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer notes that this was also due to time constraints.

Black returned to WWE television with his first Tales of the Dark Father vignette on the 23 April episode of SmackDown. He came through with another promo the following week, though the streak was broken on the latest episode.

The 12 October 2020 episode of Raw played host to Black's last match in WWE. Losing to Kevin Owens in a feud-ending No Disqualification match, Aleister was moved to the SmackDown roster as part of the 2020 WWE Draft that same day, though he is yet to compete on the blue brand.
