Recent WWE Returnees 'Didn't Think They'd Talk To Triple H Again'
There was a lot of "angst" towards Triple H from these recent WWE comeback artists.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson weren't sure they even wanted to talk to Triple H again after leaving WWE in April 2020.
Both guys were part of mass budget cuts that cost many their jobs, and they had some "angst" to work through with 'The Game' before returning this past October. Thankfully, all three got together on a FaceTime call and worked things out.
That was a cathartic experience for Gallows and Anderson. They told Corey Graves on WWE's 'After The Bell' podcast that it felt good to get back in touch with Hunter and discuss a possible comeback post-Vince McMahon retirement.
The pair also revealed that they'd kept in touch with real-life pal (and OC leader) AJ Styles since leaving the company, but honestly didn't think there'd be any scope for a reunion on WWE TV in the future. Triple H thought otherwise - he was determined to get 'The Good Brothers' back.
The trio's FaceTime convo helped close old wounds. Gallows and Anderson could "feel the new vibe and how positive everything was" since Trips had replaced McMahon, and they wanted to play a part in that change.
