When Swerve's 90-day no-compete is up, expect him to get snapped up quickly.

While it really shouldn't be much of a surprise, it seems that Swerve Strickland has generated a lot of interest from multiple wrestling companies while he waits out his WWE no-compete deal.

Fightful Select reports that ever since the former Isaiah "Swerve" Scott was released in mid-November, promoters have been inquiring about his status, "and what he wants out of deal" with a prospective company. Multiple companies have asked about him, and at least "one major company" already has plans in place for him should he decide to sign on.

The report notes that AEW asked about Strickland's status shortly after his release, and NJPW USA also has apparently reached out to the former NXT North American Champion. MLW is expected to contact Swerve - if they haven't already.

If held to the standard WWE 90-day no-compete, Swerve should be free to sign wherever he likes by the end of next week. He already commented on the Fightful report himself:

Swerve was called up to the main roster last fall when he and the rest of Hit Row was drafted to SmackDown in October. The quartet made a handful of appearances on the blue brand before B-Fab was unceremoniously released in early November. The group soldiered on as a trio for two more weeks before the remainder of Hit Row was released later that month.

Strickland's one match on the main roster was a tag team squash of enhancement talent alongside Top Dolla.
