Former WWE wrestler Bronson Reed posted what appeared to be a shot at NXT during Tuesday's episode.

The 32-year-old shared a clip from The Simpsons featuring Elvis Presley shooting a television set, declaring "Ah, this show ain't no good."

Here it is:-

That this was posted as NXT was airing makes it an easy line to draw.

If it was intended as a shot, Reed was entitled to it. He was likely frustrated and upset by his WWE release on 6 August, which came just a few weeks after he had dropped the North American Championship to Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott and seemingly been groomed for a main roster call-up after multiple tryouts. Now, he is on the unemployment line, and unable to work until his 30-day non-compete clause has elapsed.

Bronson is already on the hunt for his next place of employment, having tagged AEW, IMPACT, NJPW, and ROH in a tweet as soon as he learned of his WWE release. The big man had been with Vince McMahon's promotion since 2019, working on NXT throughout his tenure, having broken out on the global indie stage as Jonah Rock prior to that.
