Ronda Rousey is currently "on the books" for WWE WrestleMania 38, reports Dave Meltzer in the latest Figure Four Online/Wrestling Observer Daily Update.

Following on from a Fightful Select report stating that WWE has discussed the idea of bringing Rousey back in the near future, Meltzer stated that Ronda potentially appearing in the upcoming women's Royal Rumble wasn't denied to him. This could potentially be used as a path to get her in a big WrestleMania match.

If Rousey is on deck for 'Mania 38, it'll be her first pro wrestling appearance of any kind since 'Mania 35, when she, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair participated in the event's first ever women's main event. Rousey was pinned that night, dropping the Raw Women's Title to the victor, Lynch, who also claimed Flair's SmackDown belt.

Ronda has not yet commented on the rumours herself. She gave birth to her and husband Travis Browne's first daughter together, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipõ Browne, in September.

WWE is yet to determine any matches for WrestleMania 38, which takes place in Arlington, Texas on 2 and 3 April. 29 January's Royal Rumble event will likely shape the promotion's path to its biggest show of the year.
