Kairi Sane's protracted exit from WWE may finally have happened yesterday, with PWInsider reporting that she wrapped up with the promotion following yesterday's television tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE taped two episodes of RAW at the PC - last night's and next week's, meaning that the Kabuki Warriors member could still feature on the 27 July show. PWInsider state that any Kairi content captured for these episodes will be the last of her current run.

Sane was in action on last night's RAW, defeating SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley after countering her Bayley-to-Belly finisher and scoring a roll-up. Dave Meltzer writes that this was scheduled to be her final bout in WWE.

It is expected that Kairi will remain part of WWE's "extended family" upon moving back to her native Japan to be closer to her husband. An ambassadorial role has been rumoured in recent weeks, though we are still awaiting official clarification on this.

This saga has been rumbling on for a few weeks now, with recent reports suggesting a potential bout with RAW Women's Champion Asuka as a "farewell" clash, though this doesn't appear to be on the cards anymore.
