Report: Kylie Rae Still Signed To Impact Wrestling

An update on the current contract status of Kylie Rae as she comes out of retirement.

Despite retiring from wrestling at the start of November 2020, Kylie Rae remains under contract with Impact Wrestling, per Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

This is a follow-up on a previous story, as 'Smiley Kylie' was announced for her in-ring return at Warrior Wrestling's upcoming Stadium Series event on 5 June in Chicago. She'll defend her Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship against Thunder Rosa on the night.

Signing with Impact in March 2020 following an unannounced one-off appearance at the company's Bound For Glory pay-per-view the previous October, Kylie instantly became a focal point of the knockouts division. She was scheduled to challenge the Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo at last year's Bound For Glory, but wound up being replaced by a returning Su Yung after no-showing the event.

There's currently no word on how long is left in her current Impact contract, or if she'll even return there at all. Of course, she'd slot back perfectly into the knockouts division, still headed by defending champion Purrazzo. Alongside the likes of Jordynne Grace, Kimber Lee, and Fire N Flava, there are plenty of great opportunities for the former AEW star to sink her teeth into.

Regardless, it remains great to see Kylie back doing what she loves.
