WWE is of the belief that the Judgment Day could succeed the going Bloodline saga as the promotion's next big long-term storyline.

Insider account WRKD Wrestling reported as much on Tuesday. The outlet noted that WWE sees the Judgment Day as the Bloodline story's successor when it comes to longevity and fan interest, noting that the Raw stable, whose segments regularly perform well in quarter-hour television ratings, will continue to be a centrepiece in the company.

Per WRKD:-

WWE see Judgement Day as the successor to The Bloodline’s storyline, in terms of fan interest and longevity. The Judgement Day’s segments frequently gain major interest in the quarter hour ratings and will continue to be a center point of shows moving forward. #WWENXT

Prior to this, WKRD tweeted that previous plans to involve JD McDonagh in the Judgment Day have been paused for now:-

JD McDonagh’s Judgement Day plans have been halted for the time being. He lost to Apollo Crews during last night’s Main Event taping.

Last night's NXT saw Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio defeat Wes Lee to become North American Champion, aided by stablemates Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor.
