Yesterday brought news that WWE had extended its deal with the Amway Center through November, meaning the company's ThunderDome residency would continue for at least one more month beyond the original October expiry date. Now, it appears that the market-leading promotion isn't planning on straying from Orlando for at least another couple of months.

Speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said he has been told that the WWE/Amway Center deal will likely last until January, though this is unofficial. November remains the official end date.

Alvarez added that while WWE's original deal didn't allow for fans to enter the building, the company may have negotiated with the Amway Center to slowly bring live audience members back in a similar way to what they've done with the Capitol Wrestling Center. Regardless, WWE shall remain in the ThunderDome for the time being.

Previous reports suggested that WWE wrestlers had been told to get ready to travel once the original ThunderDome contract ended. This has clearly changed, with WWE seemingly deciding that despite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis lifting all restrictions on attended sporting events, they are staying put.
