B-Fab was a surprising inclusion on the list of 18 wrestlers let go by WWE on Thursday, not for her lofty position or tenure in the company, but because her stable, Hit Row, were only drafted from NXT to SmackDown on 1 October.

Now, it has emerged that Fab was let go just one week after signing a new contract with the promotion.

The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online's Bryan Alvarez tweeted the following shortly after news of her departure broke:-

The nature of B-Fab's release, and others, suggest a disconnect between WWE's business and creative arms. Karrion Kross and Keith 'Bearcat' Lee both appeared to the be in the midst of being repackaged when they were released, Franky Monet recently fought for the NXT Women's Championship, and Davey Boy Smith Jr. was only re-signed by the promotion a few months ago.

B-Fab wrestled just two televised matches in her WWE career, against Elektra Lopez and Katrina Cortez in NXT 2.0 in September. She had primarily served as a managerial figure for Hit Row during the stable's tenure, though it looks like Top Dolla, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, and Ashante 'Thee' Adonis will now progress as a trio.
