Some WWE wrestlers are "hesitant" to work with Oba Femi.

Currently positioned as WWE's next big thing, it appears that certain WWE names aren't particularly keen to work with Oba Femi.

Femi is hot on the heels of a win over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank last weekend, which follows in the footsteps of two major wins over Brock Lesnar, becoming the 2026 King of the Ring, and consistent on-screen talk of being the future of the industry - all as many fans predict the Ruler will end up facing Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 43 next year.

Speaking on the latest Self Made Sessions, Ibou of Self Made Pro said that "a lot" of wrestlers have been "hesitant" to work with Oba Femi. This isn't anything personal against Oba, but more that, given how protected and strongly positioned Femi is, a match or rivalry might not be the most productive thing for a talent, as it's likely to simply end with Oba beating them and that talent dropping down the card.

It was also noted that there is somewhat of a similar feeling from talent when it comes to potentially working with Gunther, as the Ring General is another star who's heavily protected. For those working against Oba Femi and Gunther, some have the feeling that they "don't get a lot out" of those matches.

As for their current plans, Oba Femi recently shut down Paul Heyman's advances on this week's Raw, while Gunther is on a collision course with Finn Balor over on SmackDown right now.
