RETRIBUTION Finally Break Their Silence On WWE Raw

"The darkness of RETRIBUTION will seep into the pores of every Superstar..."

Last night's Raw saw WWE's oft-maligned RETRIBUTION stable opened their mouths for the first time since debuting, interrupting a 2-on-1 match between The Riott Squad and Nia Jax to deliver a diatribe.

The lights cut out while the wrestlers were working to a finish. RETRIBUTION's new logo appeared in various spots across the ThunderDome's LED setup, before the masked group started talking, doing so through voice-altering software.

"The ThunderDome is only a facade," said the first member. "Behind this mountain of screens is the same foundation, the same WWE as before, the same behemoth that discarded and disowned us, leaving us to survive in an unfair world where the powerful continue to grow, while we are left to feed off nothing but the scraps of contempt."

The verbiage heavily hints towards wrestlers released as part of WWE's 15 April mass cuts behind involved, though this is yet to be confirmed.

A second stable member then piped up. "Contempt is a powerful motivator. We are driven to destroy, to lay waste to every Superstar and every fan," they said. "Blinded, you cannot see what you do not have. So the locust of contempt will feed upon all of you. The darkness of RETRIBUTION will seep into the pores of every Superstar, and all of your so-called Universe. We are RETRIBUTION."

Nice to hear them finally cutting a promo, but is this blend of WWE-speak and goofy teen-angst poetry a good move for the stumbling stable? You decide.
