RETRIBUTION Invades The WWE RAW Production Truck
Is the WWE roster gearing up to confront the "chaotic" stable?
The WWE roster may be on the verge of teaming up to confront RETRIBUTION, whose campaign of "chaos" continued on last night's RAW.
The Diet Nexus disrupted the show first by screwing with production during Drew McIntyre's opening promo. We then cut to a production truck, where several masked members were smashing the place up and mishandling crew members. One poor sod was pressed against a wall, with RETRIBUTION ordering they cut the broadcast, leading into the evening's first commercial.
McIntyre then held a backstage rah-rah meeting over the group's actions, trying to band the RAW roster together to face RETRIBUTION. Seth Rollins walked in, dismissing the idea that McIntyre could ever be a locker-room leader, before The Hurt Business called the aggressors out later in the evening. MVP accused Apollo Crews of being RETRIBUTION's leader, feeding into their SummerSlam 2020 programme.
RETRIBUTION weren't seen again after screwing around with the truck.
How this storyline will pan out remains a mystery, with WWE reportedly keeping their cards close to their chest. Still, it appears we're headed towards RETRIBUTION facing off against more of a united front, rather than individual wrestlers and smaller groups.
