REVEALED: Identity Of Mystery WWE Trademark Kalyx (WWE News)
WWE trademarked "Kalyx" over the weekend.

With reports over the weekend that WWE has moved to trademark the term "Kalyx", fans have been speculating as to what that could be in relation to.
Could this be the name for the new NXT faction that laid waste to Oba Femi and Fraxiom at Vengeance Day earlier this month? Could it be the name of a soon-to-debut NIL rookie? Could it be a name change for an existing talent? Might this be something to do with Sol Ruca, whose real name is Calyx?
The answer is none of the above.
Instead, Fightful Select reports that while Kalyx isn't tied to Sol Ruca or anyone in NXT, it is a term trademarked for a certain familiar face. That face? That'd be Jessika Carr.
Carr has been a referee with WWE since 2017, becoming the company's first female ref since Rita Chatterton back in the '80s. The 33-year-old Baltimore native has become a staple of the main roster and WWE's biggest PLEs, setting various records along the way.
However, before Jessike Carr was a referee, she was a wrestler on the independent scene, most notably going by the Kannadi Brink name. Now, with WWE recently running tapings for its new Evolve series, Jess has wrestled under a mask at those tapings, going by the name, you guessed it, Kalyx.
Per this Fightful report, Kalyx competed on the fourth episode of these Evolve tapings, working a tag match. As of this writing, WWE has taped a total of six Evolve episodes, with that series debuting on Tubi in the US on 5 March. For international audiences, Evolve will air on YouTube.

WWE Evolve
Founded by Gabe Sapolsky, Evolve - previously styled as EVOLVE - ran from 2010 through until 2020, eventually being purchased by WWE.
One of the standout promotions of the independent scene for a time, Evolve had heavy hitters such as Drew McIntyre, Swerve Strickland, Zack Sabre Jr., Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee, and Matt Riddle come through its doors. The company would also strike up a working relationship with WWE in 2015, serving as somewhat of a feeder promotion for the market leader.
It was announced earlier this year that WWE was resurrecting the Evolve name, this time with the idea of giving Performance Center rookies a chance to hone their craft alongside a sprinkling of more seasoned names. Essentially, WWE Evolve will replace NXT Level Up, only featuring more story-driven content than Level Up. Sapolsky is once again involved and steering the ship for Evolve.
As mentioned, WWE Evolve will air on the free Tubi service for wrestling fans in the United States from 5 March, whilst non-US audiences will find the show on YouTube.
