Brock Lesnar was set to work Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber, with The Judgment Day man booked to eliminate him from the Royal Rumble before Lesnar's eleventh hour removal.

This is according to POST Wrestling, who reported that;

"A source with knowledge of the upcoming creative plans informed POST Wrestling that Lesnar was set to work with Dominik at the Elimination Chamber event on February 24 in Perth, Western Australia. A second source confirmed this plan to us"

News broke over Royal Rumble weekend that Brock Lesnar was planned as a surprise appearance, but removed from the titular match shortly after the confirmation that Vince McMahon had resigned in disgrace once again. The former chairman and WWE are facing a sex trafficking lawsuit, and though not named specifically in the lawsuit, the “world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract” noted in the legal paperwork was ultimately named as Lesnar by the Wall Street Journal.

Lesnar was replaced wholesale by Bron Breakker, who put in a dominant performance before getting stunned by the Mysterio elimination. It has not yet been confirmed if Breakker will also gain the Perth Premium Live Event match and/or use the Rumble as his formal launch on the main roster. He's booked for NXT Vengeance Day this Saturday in the mentime.
