Ric Flair has apologised for a regrettable drunken restaurant incident that got people talking online. The wrestling legend had a bad night at a Piesano's outlet in Gainesville, Florida, and footage of the altercation eventually hit the internet.

Now, via The MJ Morning Show on Q105 (transcribed courtesy of TMZ), the 'Nature Boy' has admitted he "was wrong for losing [his] temper". Ric believes he "probably just should've walked out the door", but says the moment "caught him off-guard" because he, friends and family "were having a wonderful time" before things got heated.

"Then, all of a sudden, someone in their kitchen said I did something wrong in the bathroom and there’s no one there except me and him".

Flair had previously threatened to take legal action against the restaurant and use his celebrity influence to smear their reputation, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now. Instead, the former WWE man (who is currently tied down to a deal with AEW) wants to quickly move on from things.

He freely admitted to being in the wrong though, at least.
