Former WWE star Ridge Holland/Luke Menzies had some seriously positive news to share with wrestling fans on social media lately. Via X, the one time Brawling Brutes member told the world that he's been 100% cleared by doctors to launch a return to the ring as an active wrestler.

This is a real step in the right direction for the Brit, and it's deserved after a monumentally crap period that saw him released from his contract whilst he was rehabbing an injury. Thankfully, WWE did step up to cover Luke's medical costs stemming from a broken foot he suffered during a TNA match vs. Moose.

That was a small mercy, but he was still outraged about the way he'd been unceremoniously dumped.

On top of that broken limb, ol' Ridge faced going under the knife for potentially career-ending neck fusion surgery. That operation has been a rip roaring success though, and now Menzies can start prepping for an in-ring comeback - it won't be with WWE (presumably), but at least he can actually wrestle again.

In the statement posted on his official X account, Luke revealed he "underwent a C5-7 cervical disc replacement on 24 November 2025". He's recuperated well from that "with an excellent clinical recovery". So much so that docs are happy to medically clear him "to return to professional wrestling activities as well as contact sports".

You've got to be thrilled for the guy after everything he's been through since late-last year.
