ROH Final Battle 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen
8. 'Swerve In Our Glory' Split For Good
It'd be fun to take a poll of AEW hardcores and find out exactly who's enjoying this interminable storyline involving Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. Events at Full Gear should've been the beginning of the end for 'Swerve In Our Glory' (still a horrible name), but things are still dragging on.
Now, Lee's ROH past has been brought into things. Shane Taylor showed up on Rampage to announce that he'll team with JD Griffey against big Keith and a partner...if he could find one. Everyone knew where that was heading before Strickland appeared behind Lee and dropped his name into the hat.
End this, for f*ck sake.
Yours truly has zero interest in seeing Lee and Swerve plod on as some tag-team at loggerheads. This match came out of nowhere anyway, and it should be an excuse to finish whatever AEW hoped to achieve between both guys.
Have them lose because of Swerve, then have Keith kick him into touch.
