Roman Reigns Debuts New Look At WWE Clash Of Champions 2020

Finally, the flak jacket is gone...

Roman Reigns delivered on his promise to switch-up his ring attire at last night's Clash of Champions 2020 pay-per-view, as he worked cousin Jey Uso without his signature Shield flak jacket or new black t-shirt.

'The Big Dog' successfully retained his WWE Universal Championship in what was effectively an extended squash over Uso. Jey had his hope spots, though he was ultimately thwarted by the 'Tribal Chief,' with Jimmy Uso returning to throw in the towel on his brother's behalf.

Reigns have previously claimed that fans would "see me with my shirt off" after years of wrestling with his torso covered up. On top of this was the promise that he'd eventually be changing his entrance music as well, moving away from the Shield track, though this won't be happening until "more drastic things happen" in his current storyline.

A refreshed aesthetic is something many fans have been calling for with regards to Reigns for years. He retained The Shield's look and music when the group split in June 2014, and while he had been wrestling in slogan t-shirts since returning at SummerSlam 2020, little else had changed.

The Universal Champion retains his trademark cargo trousers and black boots.
