Ronda Rousey Accuses WWE's Drew Gulak Of Inappropriate Behaviour - Gulak Responds
Drew Gulak responds to Ronda Rousey's accusations of inappropriate behaviour.
As Ronda Rousey continues to promote her Our Fight book, the Rowdy One made an appearance on News Nation on Tuesday night.
During this interview, Ronda detailed an inappropriate moment where WWE talent Drew Gulak - who the MMA icon called "barely an acquaintance" - grabbed the string on her sweatpants. This occurred while Rousey was waiting to talk to Paul Levesque in the writers room, and Ronda was shocked how nobody around her at the time acted like this was "abnormal" behaviour.
Rousey asked Gulak whether he would have done that if her husband was there, and she later confronted him and said they were "going to have a problem" should he do something like that again to her or any other females. As Ronda put it, "If this guy is coming up to me and doing this kind of stuff to me, while there's other people around, what's happening to other girls when they're not in a hallway?"
Drew Gulak has since taken to X in response to Ronda Rousey's allegations, stating how it was an accident that he apologised to her for.
Backstage at a WWE event in 2022, I saw Ronda talking with a group in the hallway. I stopped to say hi and shake all their hands, and in an attempt to shake her hand, I accidentally touched her drawstring. Complete accident, and one that I had apologized to her for the mishap.— Drew Gulak (@DrewGulak) April 3, 2024
Of course, this allegation from Ronda, and response from Gulak, comes at a time when disgraced former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis have been accused of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse by ex-WWE employee Janel Grant, with Rousey's Our Fight book also recounting WWE's "casting couch culture" and comparing McMahon to the sinister Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.
